Elon Musk did it again. This time, the shock wave is felt by Tesla’s stock price. Tech Tycoon’s latest political tilade has rushed investors to cover after Musk launched an explosive attack on Donald Trump’s tax bill after Tesla shares plummeted more than 4%.
“Kill the bill!” Musk was furious on X (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday, June 4th, urging Americans to pick up calls and turn senators and lawmakers into badgers. “America is not OK to go bankrupt!” he thundered, calling the bill “unpleasant and hateful” and accusing Congress of stuffing it with pork.
But Wall Street was hitting the brakes while Musk went to Capitol Hill for Ham.

And as the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration still contemplates autonomous driving regulations, Musk’s war with Washington could leave his futuristic fleet to park in slow lanes.
But for now, it appears that Mask is more interested in killing bills than building cars.
