Denver has signed RB JK Dobbins to a one-year, $2.75 million contract for the 2025 season

In 2024, RB JK Dobbins played on a one-year contract with the Los Angeles Chargers. He posted a career-high 905 rushing yards and matched his personal best with nine rushing touchdowns.

The charger provided Dobbins with a one-year unlimited free agent public offering. He had to sign with another team until July 23rd. Otherwise, Los Angeles has exclusive rights to negotiate. On Tuesday, NFL Insider announced that the JK Dobbins had signed a one-year, $2.75 million contract with the Denver Broncos. The Dobbins will remain at AFC West for another season.

Last week, JK Dobbins visited the Broncos facility and met with the front office and coaching staff. Negotiations have been underway since then, according to ESPN’s Jeff Legwold. JK Dobbins is a player Denver is truly interested in, signing a one-year $2.75 million deal. His contract could reach $5 million based on incentives.

During his professional career, JK Dobbins missed a fair amount of time due to injuries. As a rookie with Baltimore in 2020, Dobbins played 15 games and got off to a single start. Unfortunately, he missed the entire 2021 season as the ACL was torn apart. In 2023, Dobbins missed everything but one game for the Ravens after suffering a torn Achilles. During the 2024 season, the Dobbins were members of the Chargers. He played in 13 games and missed four games due to MCL’s spinning.

Last season, the JK Dobbins rushed to a career-high 905 rushing yards against Los Angeles. He played 13 of his 17 games and started 11 times. The 27-year-old matched his personal best with nine rushing touchdowns in a season. Dobbins will join the Broncos backfield with Audrik Estame, Jayrell McLaughlin and rookie RJ Harvey.
