There have been several celebrities who have died in plane crashes and other aviation accidents over the past decades. However, there are also quite a few survivors. After experiencing air problems and full out crash landings, a handful of stars left in their own lives.

Harrison Ford
Harrison Ford In 2015, he piloted a World War II aircraft and crashed into a golf course in Los Angeles. He was hospitalized for multiple broken bones, but recovered. However, the incident stayed in Harrison’s mind for a while, and he pointed out during the 2025 interference. Wall Street Journal. While speaking about the rehearsals on the set in 1923, the veteran actor compared his real-life experiences to the characters on the show.

Bono
Bono Although they were not involved in the plane collision, it was a close call. The U2 vocalist was flying through Germany on a Learjet in 2014, but the door broke into the air. The plane landed safely despite a moment of miserable air.
Travis Barker

The plane had a tire burst and the pilot informed air traffic control that sparks were being fired from the aircraft. Once they stopped taking off, the flames got worse, with only Travis and Am evading the jet with second and third burns on their bodies.
Travis was in the hospital for almost three months in the accident. He suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) for years for fear of flying and was not on the plane again until 2021.
Sandra Bullock
Sandra Bullock I was on a business jet that crashed in Jackson Hole, Wyoming in 2000. The plane slid down the runway. Miraculously, the actress, other passengers and the crew on board survived.
Wilmer Valderrama, Ashton Kutcher, Danny Masterson

“I feel the lighthead,” he wrote in an excerpt from his memoir. “It’s getting harder to breathe. The oxygen masks have fallen from the ceiling. I wonder if they fell because the turbulence was loose and shaking, or maybe something else.”
Luckily, Wilmer said everyone on board was fine when they landed.
