The UK has ordered the Middle East to deploy aircraft, including fighter jets, to protect military bases in response to growing tensions between Israel and Iran, Prime Minister Kiel Starmer announced on Saturday.
“We are moving assets to areas including Jet,” Starmer told reporters on his way to a group of seven conferences held in Canada. It has been reported.
Priority said the UK is mobilizing additional high-speed jets and refueling aircraft to participate in existing assets in the region. The purpose of the deployment is to provide “emergency response support” in the Middle East amid fears of further escalation. Preparations began Friday morning after Israeli strikes targeted Iran’s nuclear program and top military leaders. Iran previously warned the UK, the US and France against Israel’s helping Iranian or Tehran leaders order bases and warships that targeted the attack.
Priority does not rule out Israel’s advocacy
On the flight to the G7 Summit, priority refused to rule out Israel from Iran’s strike despite Iran’s warnings. It has been reported. He also said he spoke to other world leaders, including Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Donald Trump.
“I always make the right decisions for the UK,” he said. He said when asked about his reaction to Iran’s threat to Western bases that came to Israeli aid. “We are moving assets, including jets, into the region, to support the region in emergencies.”
The Guardian also said Downing Street will deploy additional high-speed jets and join the refueling aircraft to “provide emergency response support throughout the Middle East.”
PM also refuses to answer this question
Refusing to answer whether the UK will actively engage in the conflict, the order of priorities stated:
He also said, “But we are moving assets. We are already moving assets, including jets, into the region. That’s because of emergency support throughout the region. That’s what’s happening.”
There is no official information about British military actions in the Israeli-Iran conflict. For example, it can help intercept Iranian missiles targeting Israel.
Starmer also refused to clarify whether Israel was notified prior to the attack on Iran. “We don’t get into the information we had back then or since. But we’ll discuss these things vigorously with our allies. But we’re not going to explain exactly what we knew, as what we knew is a constant flow of information between our allies and us and the United States.”
Experts warn that Iran’s threat to retaliation against the UK and its allies should be “seriously” with actions that guide Tehran’s counters “previously unthinkable,” the Guardian wrote.
