“Someone should stop the Israelites. I think they can do whatever they like at any time,” she said. “Iran has shown that the Israelites are wrong, but they can suppress the people of Gaza and Lebanon through intense bombing.”

Houshang Ebadi, a 61-year-old auto mechanic, also supported the Iranian strike but said he was opposed to a full-scale war between Iran and Israel.

“I support my country. The Israelis made the mistake of launching an attack on Iran, but I hope this ends,” Ebadi said. “War will never bear fruit on any side.”

After the strike, several governments issued red travel warnings to citizens across Iran and the region. That’s what the flight was like Detour or Cancel Just as airlines face airspace closures.
