The nationwide “king” protest had one of Hollywood’s biggest voter turnout. The movement urged countless Americans to oppose it as multiple celebrities attended Donald Trump And his administration – from Los Angeles to New York City. It was among the most famous faces Mark Ruffalo, Susan Sarandon and Jimmy Kimmel.
Mark spoke to MSNBC in a NYC protest and explained why he showed up.
“We see the president who has made ourselves a king and a dictator, and we didn’t see a strong enough opposition to stand up to the trampling of our rights and the trampling of the constitution that happens every day with executive orders. “We’re tired of it, we’re scared. And the only way to fight this now is to come together, for the people.”
