FIDMarseille unveils 2025 lineup including Rita Azevedo Gomes’ ‘Fuck The Polis’

Fidmarseille has chosen 36 76 movies^th Includes new features from the edition (July 8th-13th) from Rita Azevedo Gomes, Clemente Castor and Caroline Golum.

76 features include 51 titles of the competition and 43 world premieres. The title is 39 films, with 28 of them being world premieres.

Portuguese filmmaker Gomez announces world premiere Fuck Police With 14 strong international competitions. It follows Irma, a woman who traveled to Greece 20 years ago, and now goes back to the journey accompanied by three young men.

Gomez writes the film with Regina Guimarès and produces it for her Basilisco film. The director has previously been screened at Locarno correspondenceAnd in Berlin Portuguese women.

Fidmarseille aims to “spotlight independent films” in “the story that uncovers the sounds of the modern world and its fractures (the story that reveals both individual and collectively,” according to Festival Briefing.
