Stephanie Joirland tide and Ranimesias The river of steel This is an eco-friendly development workshop from Torinofilmlab (TFL), one of 20 projects selected for Green Story.
According to TFL, the TFL Next Green story aims to develop a feature film project that “authenticly integrates comprehensive, environmentally friendly storytelling.”

Set in Brittany in 2055, Jolland’s tide Follow a mysterious British woman who meets a sad French coastal guide who takes her to a remote beach that develops bonds while recording the sounds of humpback whales.
Sean McConville is creating a project for Joalland’s British company Frenzy Films, who has credits including the 2014 thriller. Quiet time and 2009 deadline.
Brazilian filmmaker Messias is taking part in it The river of steel. Set in the near future Amazon Savannah, it follows a former scientist who joins underground resistance and revives the dead river.
In addition to supporting 20 filmmakers who incorporate climate themes, social inclusion, and/or sustainability into feature film projects in the treatment stage, the workshop will also train three-storey editors with the skills to help writers integrate climate-conscious themes. Cecilia Gragnani, Dubravka Turic and Nadia Attaia are selected story editor trainees.
The Green Story takes place in three online modules from June 9th to 13th. June 30th to July 4th. And then September 1st-5th. The workshop is led by TFL research director Eva SvenStedt Ward
The workshop was published in collaboration with Climate Spring, an international organization founded in 2022 to support screen stories about climate change.
Green’s Story is one of several development and workshop programs undertaken by TFL, alongside its featurelab scheme and comedy development program.
